The Opportunity

A growing, international technology business is expanding its presence in the UK and is looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to lead commercial development across the market.

This role combines technical understanding with commercial delivery, focused on solutions that support vulnerable people to live more safely and independently. You will act as the UK ambassador for a well-established product range within the telecare and connected devices sector.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Develop and execute the UK commercial strategy alongside senior leadership
  • Promote solutions to healthcare providers, social care organisations, distributors, and public sector buyers
  • Manage the full sales cycle: lead generation, proposals, tenders, and closing
  • Build long-term partnerships with key stakeholders across the UK
  • Represent the business at trade shows, client demos, and industry events
  • Maintain and grow a structured pipeline using CRM systems
  • Provide market feedback to influence product development

What You’ll Need

  • 3+ years in B2B technical sales
  • Background in electronics, IT, or a related technical field
  • Strong interest in health tech, telecare, or IoT solutions
  • Proven ability to engage both technical and commercial stakeholders
  • Comfortable with UK-wide travel (3–4 days per week)
  • Fluent in French

Desirable:

  • Experience in healthcare, telecare, or connected devices
