About the Opportunity

We’re seeking a Warehouse Optimisation & Product Manager to lead improvements across warehouse operations, systems, and analytics. This hybrid role blends operational expertise with product ownership, ensuring that warehouse workflows, technology, and teams operate at peak performance.

You’ll play a pivotal role in maintaining a high-performing warehouse service offering, supporting global operations, and delivering exceptional value to internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Excellence

  • Analyse current warehouse processes to identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve accuracy, throughput, and cost efficiency.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen methodologies.
  • Establish and refine KPIs such as order accuracy, pick rate, fulfilment time, and space utilisation.
  • Standardise best practices and SOPs across warehouse locations.
  • Develop slotting and storage strategies to maximise storage density and operational efficiency.

Product & Systems Management

  • Own the roadmap and optimisation of warehouse and automation systems (WMS, ERP integrations, dashboards, robotics).
  • Collaborate with IT teams and vendors to design scalable, efficient, and tailored solutions.
  • Translate operational feedback into system enhancements and new feature development.
  • Lead testing, training, and change-management activities for successful system adoption.

Data & Reporting

  • Build and maintain performance dashboards and analytical reports.
  • Conduct root-cause and trend analyses to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Present insights and recommendations to leadership to support strategic decision-making.

Customer Collaboration

  • Work with customer-facing teams to develop robust RFQ responses.
  • Translate customer needs into operational and technology-driven workflows.
  • Support customer reviews with performance data and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Contribute to new business development and warehouse utilisation initiatives.

Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Operations, Transport, IT, and Customer Solutions teams to align on optimisation goals.
  • Lead workshops and training sessions to promote a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Mentor team members in analytics and data-driven decision-making.
  • Act as the link between operations, technology, and product development.

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years’ experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain management.
  • Proven track record in process improvement and warehouse systems management.
  • Experience implementing WMS, automation, or efficiency-driven technologies.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or similar frameworks (certification preferred).
  • Project or change management experience (Agile, PMP, Prince2 desirable).
  • Flexible, solutions-focused, and willing to travel if required.
