Salesforce Administrator

This is an exciting opportunity to join a business that is investing heavily in its technology landscape and is committed to improving how Salesforce is used across the organisation.

As the Salesforce Administrator, you will play a key role in the ongoing development, stability, and optimisation of the Salesforce platform. Working closely with the IT team and external Salesforce partners, you will ensure the system supports business operations effectively while driving continuous improvement.

You will be responsible for:

  • Day-to-day Salesforce administration, including user account management, system changes, and monitoring for errors or anomalies.
  • Supporting development work alongside external Salesforce specialists.
  • Ensuring the platform is stable, secure, and aligned with best practice.
  • Translating business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Supporting testing, deployment, and release cycles for system improvements.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving system issues.
  • Encouraging strong data quality and good record-keeping within the user community.
  • Maintaining platform documentation and supporting knowledge sharing within IT.
  • Collaborating with data and analytics teams to maintain integrations with reporting tools.

We're looking for someone who has:

  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce configuration or development.
  • Solid understanding of Salesforce objects, fields, flows, permissions, and data models.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a high level of attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical teams.
  • A proactive mindset, always identifying ways to improve system performance and user experience.

Desirable (not essential):

  • Salesforce Administrator or Developer certifications.
  • Experience working with Salesforce implementation partners or external vendors.
