Data Forecasting Analyst

Mid-level analytical role with a strong statistical focus

  • Work on meaningful forecasting projects using real‐world data.
  • Blend hands-on analysis with stakeholder engagement and transition into working with a modernised data stack.
  • Flexible working with regular collaboration and twice‐monthly London office visit.

This analyst role is ideal for someone who enjoys statistical problem solving, working with real client data and presenting insight that informs decisions and helps stakeholders. You’ll join a team that values thoughtful research, clear communication and strong analytical thinking. As an analyst in this team you’ll manage your own workload, contribute to forecasting, and support a UK‐wide team to deliver high-quality insight.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll join a growing data function at an exciting point of change, with the chance to shape new ways of working and a plan of an Azure based stack being introduced. You’ll work within a collaborative team, focusing on forecasting and analytics and presenting to clients, stakeholders and internally.

You’ll work on forecasting projects built on fresh datasets gathered from clients. You’ll extract and analyse data in SQL and Excel, applying statistical methods to understand trends and build models. You’ll manage data from multiple sources, develop forecasting outputs and help design analytical approaches that keep evolving as the organisation progresses towards an Azure stack.

You’ll also play a key part in presenting insights. The role involves preparing reports, shaping presentations and communicating your findings to both technical and non-technical audiences. Over time, you’ll take ownership of sections of client delivery, ensuring insights land clearly and confidently with stakeholders.

You’ll collaborate with colleagues across the UK, so being proactive and reliable in a remote working setup is essential. The team meets twice a month in London, giving you the chance to build strong working relationships and contribute to in-person discussions.

What experience you’ll need to apply

  • A few years of experience working in an analyst role
  • Strong background in statistics, economics or research-led analysis
  • Proven experience using SQL and Excel for data extraction and analysis
  • Experience working on forecasting projects
  • Solid understanding of analytical methodologies and applied statistical techniques
  • Clear and confident communicator who can explain complex ideas simply and present insights
  • Experience working in dispersed or remote teams
  • Ability to manage your own workload and work independently
  • Stakeholder engagement experience and confidence presenting to groups
  • Any exposure to Azure or Databricks is a bonus
  • Background in client facing environments, ideally within a charity, would be a bonus

What you’ll get in return for your experience

A salary of up to £55,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a great package on top. The role is heavily remote but there is a requirement to be based in London twice a month, so ideally you’d live in or around London and happy to do this commute.
