Digital Analyst

Be the go-to person for digital analytics, driving ecommerce and marketing performance

  • Own and develop GA4 analytics across a growing retail business
  • Influence commercial decisions through insight, testing and performance analysis
  • Join a collaborative analytics team with genuine autonomy and strong benefits

We're looking for a Digital Analyst to become the go-to for digital insight, helping teams better understand customer behaviour, digital performance and the impact of marketing investment. You’ll sit in the central team, working closely with ecommerce, marketing and commercial stakeholders.

What you'll be doing

As a Digital Analyst, you'll take ownership of digital analytics and help stakeholders make better decisions through data. A large part of the role will focus on GA4, helping stakeholders understand customer journeys, campaign effectiveness and website performance. You'll analyse digital activity, measure ROI, support A/B testing programmes and identify opportunities to improve conversion and customer experience.

You'll also play a key role in testing and experimentation, helping teams understand what's working, what isn't and where improvements can be made. Working closely with stakeholders across the business, you'll translate complex findings into clear and meaningful insight that drives action.

As the organisation continues to mature its analytics capability, you'll have the opportunity to shape how digital insight is used across multiple functions and contribute to the development of a data-driven culture.

What experience you'll need to apply

  • Several years of strong commercial experience using GA4
  • Advanced SQL skills
  • Experience analysing digital, web or ecommerce performance
  • Ability to measure and communicate ROI across digital channels
  • Experience supporting A/B testing and optimisation initiatives
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience translating data into actionable business insight
  • Ability to work autonomously and operate in a developing analytics environment
  • Python experience would be beneficial
  • Experience within retail, ecommerce or consumer-focused businesses would be advantageous

What you'll get in return for your experience

A salary of £60,000-£70,000 depending on experience, plus an excellent benefits package including pension, life assurance, enhanced family leave policies, staff discounts and more. The role is based in East Sussex with a hybrid working arrangement of a minimum of 2-3 days per week in the office (depending on candidate location).

What's next?
