VP / Global Director – Client Relations– Small Accounts

ADVANCE®AI provides pharma leaders everyday visibility of the quality of the conversations taking place between their field-based teams and Health Care Professionals (HCPs)

We now have an exciting opportunity to join a rapid growth company that is significantly changing the way pharmaceutical companies collect and analyse field insights, quantifying and benchmarking field execution quality in real time. Although our Head Office is based in Cambridgeshire, UK, this role is fully remote and involves collaborating full-time with a global team that is committed, high achieving, and fun to work with.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced VP or Global Director of Client Relations (title dependent on experience) to lead global business development and client partnerships for ADVANCE®AI. This role is focused on driving new client acquisition , particularly within small and emerging pharmaceutical companies, while also supporting account expansion and long-term client success. You will operate as a trusted partner to senior stakeholders and work closely with Customer Success to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery across geographies.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Growth

  • Own and drive global business development strategy and execution
  • Build and manage a high-volume sales pipeline, progressing multiple opportunities simultaneously
  • Win new clients and support organic growth within existing accounts
  • Position ADVANCE®AI’s value proposition effectively with agile pharma organisations
  • Engage senior stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, SFE, Medical Excellence, and Commercial Leadership

Account Expansion & Client Partnership

  • Partner with Customer Success to ensure seamless onboarding and long-term satisfaction
  • Identify and execute upsell and cross-sell opportunities as client adoption matures
  • Lead quarterly and semi-annual business reviews, reinforcing value and driving growth
  • Ensure clients understand, adopt, and act on AI-driven insights

Cross-Functional & Global Collaboration

  • Work closely with global and local teams including Country GMs, Regional Heads, and Customer Success Managers
  • Ensure consistency and quality of programme delivery across regions
  • Build trusted, long-term relationships with senior client stakeholders, including C-suite leaders

What We’re Looking For

Essential

  • Proven success in B2B sales with a strong track record of closing new business
  • Experience selling into small or emerging pharmaceutical companies
  • Experience selling SaaS, technology, analytics, or data-driven solutions (pharma experience strongly preferred)
  • Credibility with pharmaceutical commercial, medical, or operations stakeholders
  • Strong communication, discovery, and influencing skills
  • High energy, resilience, and adaptability in a fast-growth environment
  • Analytical mindset with excellent organisational and prioritisation skills
  • Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial, high-accountability culture

Desirable

  • Background in consultancy, analytics, or AI-enabled solutions
  • Experience working with pharmaceutical field teams
  • Sales & Marketing leadership or BU/P&L responsibility
  • Country or regional leadership experience
  • Additional language skills
