Principal Azure DevOps Engineer

We're looking for a Principal Azure DevOps Engineer to drive the modernisation of our client’s Azure estate — building a secure, scalable, and cost-efficient platform that supports growth and replaces legacy systems.

In this hands-on leadership role, you’ll set the standard for modern cloud architecture, champion DevOps and FinOps practices, and influence a shift in how infrastructure is delivered across the business.

What You’ll Do

• Redesign and modernise the current Azure environment
• Lead deployment and ongoing management of key services (networking, security, compute, AKS, AAD, etc.)
• Automate infrastructure with Terraform and PowerShell
• Build CI/CD pipelines and support cloud-native development
• Ensure high performance, security, and compliance
• Mentor teams and drive adoption of cloud best practices

What You Bring

• Azure certified (Admin/Architect level)
• Strong IaaS, PaaS, and hybrid cloud experience
• Skilled in IaC (Terraform) and scripting (PowerShell/Python)
• Solid grasp of cloud security, networking, and DevOps tooling (Azure DevOps, Monitor, Security)
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerisation
