The Role

We are seeking a Junior Analyst to support Continuous Improvement and reporting excellence across Central Finance, Operations, and Sales. This role will focus on transforming large volumes of data into clear, actionable insight for senior stakeholders, helping guide business decision-making and performance improvement.

The successful candidate will be a Power BI - focused analyst with a strong interest in performance measurement, KPI development, and business improvement. Graduated will also be considered.

Duties include:

  • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards to support Finance, Operations, and Sales teams
  • Review and analyse extensive weekly financial and operational reports (circa 50 pages)
  • Produce a concise weekly executive summary and commentary highlighting:
  • Key performance trends
  • Priority KPIs to focus on
  • Areas requiring attention or improvement
  • Work closely with stakeholders to identify which KPIs matter most and how they should evolve over time
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by translating data into clear recommendations
  • Help standardise reporting and improve the clarity, consistency, and usefulness of management information
Stakeholder Exposure
  • Regular interaction with Senior Leadership Team (SLT) via weekly summaries and insight
  • Collaboration across Finance, Operations, and Sales
  • Regional exposure to the wider business, including site visits as required
Location & Travel
  • Predominantly based in NH
  • Regional coverage with occasional travel to other business sites and remote working
The Candidate

Essential:

  • Degree-level education (or equivalent) in a numerate or analytical discipline
  • Strong Power BI capability (or advanced proficiency with clear desire to specialise)
  • High attention to detail with the ability to summarise complex information clearly
  • Confident written communication skills, particularly for senior audiences

Desirable:

  • Early career experience in analytics, finance, operations, or performance reporting
  • Understanding of KPIs and management information
  • Interest in continuous improvement or operational excellence

Salary
  • Looking between £30,000 - £40,000 per annum DOE
  • Hybrid and flexible working
