Material Handling Apprentice

Do you have the curiosity to learn multiple disciplines in electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems? You will engage with staff and trainers operating across the complete range of equipment during your material handling apprenticeship. 

Role

Materials  handling apprentice.

  • To gain knowledge under supervision  of the safe working practices 
  • Procedures and disciplines of all the systems necessary electric, diesel,hydraulic, lpg and mechanical that interact on heavy materials 
  • Handling equipment together with the interpersonal skills required to team work with colleges
  • Interact with customers

Training

  • On-the-job training 
  • Off-the-job training 
  • Block release training to Stephenson College Coalville

To progress to Specialist Field Engineer.
