Solutions Architect
- Translate business strategy into architectural change and technical delivery
- Lead cross-organisation capabilities and influence senior stakeholders
- Define and own the enterprise architecture vision, strategy and roadmap
- Map as-is / to-be / transitional states
- Work across all domains: business, data, technology, security
- Establish architectural principles, standards and governance
- Provide expert advice ensuring sustainability, reuse and value for money
- Guide major decisions with high risk, impact and complexity
- Coach/mentor others and build the architectural community
- Conduct horizon scanning and identify emerging trends
- Collaborate across the organisation and unblock major issues
- Senior-level architecture leadership
- Ability to communicate complex architecture to technical & non-technical audiences
- Commercial understanding — supplier selection & contract models
- Strong governance, risk management, and design decision skills
- Ability to shape ambiguous, high-complexity problems
- TOGAF or ISEB (Architecture certification)
- AND at least one of: ITIL, IT4IT, COBIT
