Are you an IT Support professional looking for a role where you can take ownership, develop your technical skills and make a genuine impact?
We're recruiting for an established, multi-site organisation looking to add an IT Service Desk Engineer to its growing IT team in Worksop.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with at least 12 months of IT support experience who enjoys troubleshooting, solving problems and delivering excellent customer service.
You'll join a supportive team where you'll gain exposure to a broad range of technologies, take ownership of technical issues and play an important role in keeping the business running smoothly.
What you'll be doing
- Providing 1st and 2nd line IT support to users across multiple sites, both remotely and in person.
- Troubleshooting hardware, software, network and connectivity issues.
- Supporting Microsoft 365, Windows 10/11, Teams, SharePoint and Intune.
- Managing user accounts and permissions through Active Directory and Azure AD (Entra ID).
- Logging, prioritising and resolving incidents within agreed SLAs.
- Setting up equipment and user accounts for new starters.
- Maintaining accurate IT documentation and identifying opportunities to improve processes.
- Working closely with the wider IT team to resolve more complex technical issues.
What we're looking for
We're looking for someone who is technically capable, approachable and genuinely enjoys helping people.
You'll need:
- At least 12 months of experience in an IT support or service desk role.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Active Directory and Intune.
- Experience using an IT ticketing system such as Jira, Freshservice or Zendesk.
- A good understanding of Windows operating systems, IT hardware and basic networking.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to take ownership of issues through to resolution.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
- A full UK driving licence and access to your own transport for occasional travel.
Experience with ITIL processes or producing technical documentation would be beneficial but isn't essential.
