Senior DevOps Engineer | £70,000 Basic

A technology-led financial services organisation delivering secure, high-volume digital platforms. The business is undergoing a major cloud and platform modernisation programme and is investing heavily in engineering capability and standards.

The Role

This is a hands-on Senior DevOps Engineer position focused on building scalable Azure environments, improving delivery pipelines and strengthening platform reliability.

You’ll help shape technical standards, support development teams and contribute to the organisation’s cloud transformation.

What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI)
• Provision Azure infrastructure using IaC (Bicep or similar)
• Improve platform reliability, security and observability
• Support development teams with DevOps tooling and practices
• Contribute to architecture, standards and platform improvements

What They’re Looking For

• Strong cloud experience (Azure preferred)
• CI/CD and automation expertise
• Infrastructure as Code experience (Terraform or Bicep)
• Scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash or similar)
• Experience supporting production environments
• Monitoring and observability experience

Package

• £70,000 basic salary - flexible
• Hybrid working (2 days per week in office) - Altrincham HQ
