Data Cabling Engineer

BAU ad-hoc works in a Data Centre environment, and not particularly busy.

Works involve:

  • Copper/fibre patching
  • Fault finding
  • Install/removal of servers and cabinets
  • Cutting floors

Would suit someone mature, as it can be a bit of sitting about, so needs someone who can deal with fast then slow paces of work.

Works are 0900 to 1700 and not able to change that (no early starts and leave early).

You will be an experienced data cabling engineer, proficient with installing terminating and testing copper ethernet and fibre as well as reporting and documenting actions in a professional manner.
