eDiscovery Project Manager - London - £45,000 to £60,000

Overview:

A leading firm is building a new in-house eDiscovery service and is looking for an experienced eDiscovery Project Manager to help shape it from the ground up.

This is a hands-on, end-to-end role. You’ll be the central point of contact for managing digital evidence, supporting document reviews, processing data, and running productions, while keeping projects defensible, on track, and aligned to best practice.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead end-to-end eDiscovery project delivery: scoping, budgeting, timelines, reporting, and stakeholder management
  • Oversee data collection, preservation, processing and chain of custody, ensuring defensibility throughout
  • Manage eDiscovery platforms: processing, loading, database maintenance, review readiness and optimisation
  • Design and run review and production workflows aligned to EDRM, firm procedures, and legal standards
  • Act as the key liaison across legal teams, clients, IT and Legal Risk, plus third-party providers (eDisclosure, translation, forensics)
  • Own QC across processing and productions, including checks against specs and project requirements
  • Provide training and day-to-day support to internal users and clients across review tools and secure data sharing

What we’re looking for:

  • Strong, practical eDiscovery knowledge, with a relevant qualification and/or solid hands-on platform experience
  • Proven experience managing large and complex eDiscovery matters from collection through to production
  • Comfortable working under pressure with competing deadlines, and able to run projects with minimal oversight
  • Highly organised, detail-focused, and confident in troubleshooting issues and solving problems quickly
  • Working knowledge of the wider digital evidence ecosystem used in law firms (forensics, review platforms, electronic bundles)
  • Able to commute to the London office 2 days per week

Pay range and compensation package

  • Base salary of £45,000 - £60,000
  • Discretionary bonus of 5-10%
  • Full suite of employee benefits, including private healthcare, pension, and more
  • Strong professional development support and exposure to global casework
