eDiscovery Senior Consultant - £85,000 to £95,000 - London
APT has partnered with a specialist eDiscovery consultancy to appoint a Senior eDiscovery Consultant to join their UK team. This is a senior, client-facing position suited to someone who operates independently and takes full ownership of matters. You will manage multiple client disclosures end-to-end while remaining hands-on in Relativity across processing, analytics, review workflows and productions.
This is not a coordination-only role. There is no layered processing or production team to rely on.
You must be comfortable executing the work yourself to a high standard while advising clients strategically.
The role is primarily remote, with occasional travel to London required. Candidates must be within commutable distance of London.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact for multiple clients across complex disclosure and investigation matters.
- Manage full EDRM lifecycle delivery, including data scoping, processing, analytics, review setup, workflow design, quality control and productions.
- Work directly in Relativity, taking ownership of processing, analytics, batching, TAR workflows, productions and troubleshooting.
- Design defensible, efficient disclosure strategies tailored to client risk, timelines and regulatory requirements.
- Advise clients on best practices, cost control, proportionality and technical considerations across disclosure exercises.
- Manage deadlines across concurrent matters without reliance on separate processing or production teams.
- Conduct quality control on productions ensuring compliance with court orders, regulatory obligations and agreed specifications.
- Maintain clear and commercially aware communication with clients, acting as a trusted advisor rather than a technical processor.
- Troubleshoot technical challenges independently and escalate only where genuinely required.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of workflows, documentation and delivery standards.
Key Requirements
- 6+ years of eDiscovery experience, ideally including time within a consultancy or law firm environment.
- Demonstrable track record of independently managing multiple client disclosures end-to-end.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Relativity, including processing, analytics, review workflows and productions.
- Deep understanding of the EDRM lifecycle and UK disclosure standards.
- Comfortable operating without reliance on separate processing or production teams.
- Proven ability to manage direct client relationships in a professional services environment.
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to balance defensibility, efficiency and client cost considerations.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage competing deadlines across multiple matters.
- Clear, confident communicator able to translate technical issues into practical guidance for legal teams.
- Must be based within commutable distance to London.
- No people management responsibilities. This is a senior individual contributor role.
Who This Role Suits
This opportunity is ideal for a technically strong, independent senior who enjoys full ownership of matters and wants to remain close to the detail while building trusted client relationships.
If you prefer structured teams where processing, analytics and production are segmented, this role will not be the right fit. If you enjoy accountability, autonomy and being the person clients rely on directly, this will be a highly rewarding move.

This client is not accepting applicants who require visa sponsorship or H1-B visas due to the sensitivity of the position and the data managed.
