A leading global financial institution is undertaking a major rebuild of its quantitative development platform-and is looking for a Senior Python Developer to lead the charge. If you've built and owned quant frameworks before, this is your opportunity to shape the tools that power high-performance trading, risk, and analytics systems used across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain a core Python quant library for pricing, risk, and model research
• Build interactive toolkits and interfaces for Real Time use in Excel and web environments
• Define and implement CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, packaging, and deployment
• Introduce and enforce static typing practices using mypy for better code quality and maintainability
• Collaborate closely with quants and engineers to embed Python into a distributed compute ecosystem
• Own major framework components from architecture through to delivery

Key Requirements

• Expert-level Python skills, including hands-on experience with mypy
• Proven track record of designing and owning quant development frameworks in financial services
• Experience with high-performance data processing or large-scale analytics platforms
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals and database technologies
• Familiarity with PyXLL, pybind, and compiled languages (C++ or C#) is a strong plus
• Team-oriented with excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Comfortable in fast-paced, agile environments with high technical visibility
