Reporting Analyst - SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

Reporting Analyst – SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

London / Hybrid

Initial 6-month Fixed Term Contract with view to Permanent

Up to £95,000 + bonus + benefits

We are partnering with a leading global financial services organisation as they roll out SAP Analytics Cloud as the strategic reporting front end for Group Finance.

This is a hands-on, delivery-led role for an experienced SAC specialist who can own the build, shape how SAC is used, and embed it as the single reporting platform for Group Reporting and Actuals.

You will join a small, focused team and partnering closely with senior finance stakeholders up to CFO level.

The role

The focus of this role is Group Reporting and Actuals, not FP&A or planning.

In your first six months, you will:

  • Lead the SAC build for SAP Group Reporting, ahead of a critical go-live in May.
  • Deliver Actuals reporting from S/4HANA into SAC, ensuring accuracy, control and confidence.
  • Establish SAC as the primary and sole reporting front end.
  • Design and deliver finance-grade dashboards, reports and analysis supporting statutory reporting, annual reports and regulatory submissions.
  • Work with Finance, IT, project teams and external partners to define requirements and translate them into robust SAC solutions.
  • Play a key role in defining the target operating model for SAC – including governance, security, standards and ways of working.
  • Act as a trusted partner to Finance users, building confidence, driving adoption and ensuring SAC is genuinely used in day-to-day reporting.

What we're looking for

  • Strong, hands-on experience with SAP Analytics Cloud with a clear track record delivering reporting solutions (not just planning or FP&A).
  • Proven experience using S/4HANA as a data source for Actuals and Group Reporting in SAC.
  • Experience working across the full lifecycle: requirements, design, build, testing and go-live.
  • Ability to define and implement a target operating model for reporting platforms, not just develop content.
  • Comfortable operating in a small team, taking ownership, making decisions and driving delivery.
  • Strong stakeholder skills, with the credibility to work with senior Finance leaders.
  • Financial services experience is beneficial but not essential; finance-led reporting experience is key.

This role will suit someone who enjoys building things properly, bringing structure where it doesn't yet exist, and helping a finance organisation move from project delivery to business-as-usual reporting confidence.
