The Role

This is a hands-on engineering role responsible for delivering robust enterprise solutions on MS Azure and Power Platform. The role requires deep technical expertise, strong engineering judgement and close collaboration with architects, product, delivery and business stakeholders. This role will see you contribute to technical decisions and engineering standards through expertise and practical delivery. For an individual who demonstrates the appropriate capability and ambition, the role also provides an opportunity to progress into a future technical leadership position within a growing global insurance business, focused on designing, building, and delivering enterprise-scale solutions on Microsoft Azure. You'll be designing and building integrations, shaping engineering standards, and mentoring the engineers around you. Please note: This is not a pure DevOps role. We are seeking a hands-on Azure and PP Engineer with strong experience across .NET, Azure PaaS services, integrations, APIs, and solution design. Whilst experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices is important, the primary focus is on delivering business solutions using Azure application and integration services.

What you'll be doing

• Design and implement enterprise-scale solutions on Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Power Platform in line with approved architecture, security and engineering standards.
• Translate functional and non-functional requirements into maintainable technical designs and working software.
• Contribute to solution design discussions, identify technical trade-offs and provide evidence-based engineering recommendations.
• Build reusable components, integrations and automation that improve delivery speed, consistency and supportability.
• Apply responsible AI practices when using Azure AI, Copilot or AI agent capabilities within business solutions. Azure, Integration & Application Development
• Develop applications and services using .NET/C#, REST APIs, microservices and Azure PaaS services.
• Design and implement integration solutions using Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus, Event Grid and API Management.

What you'll bring:

• At least five years of experience as a Senior Engineer delivering complex, production-grade systems.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services and Azure integration services.
• Strong .NET/C# development experience, including API-based and service-oriented architectures.
• Demonstrable hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate and Dataverse.
• Experience integrating Azure, Power Platform, Microsoft 365 and external enterprise systems.
• Experience designing and implementing microservices, event-driven solutions and data integrations.
• Working knowledge of Azure AI services and the Microsoft ecosystem for Copilot and AI agents. Cloud, Platform & DevOps
• Solid understanding of cloud architecture principles, identity, security, networking, performance, resilience and observability.
