Senior Data Architect Government Project (Outside IR35 | Remote | SC Cleared | Immediate Start)

Were seeking an experienced Data Architect to support a key government programme, driving the design and delivery of enterprise-level data solutions within a secure, large-scale environment.

This role involves setting direction for how data is structured, governed and shared ensuring alignment with departmental strategy and cross-government data standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Architecture Strategy: Define and implement robust architecture principles, frameworks, and standards that underpin the organisations long-term data strategy.
• Modelling & Integration: Build and optimise data models that connect multiple systems and sources, ensuring high data quality, consistency, and accessibility.
• Technical Oversight: Advise on data engineering, storage and governance practices
• Collaboration & Leadership: Work closely with architects, product teams, and senior stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives.

Requirements

• Current SC Clearance
• Demonstrable experience as a Data Architect in government or large public-sector programmes
• Deep understanding of data modelling, architecture frameworks and governance
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills

• 600 - 625 p/d Outside IR35
• Remote
• Immediate Start
