About the Role

ARCA Resourcing is working in partnership with an innovative, fast-paced technology scale-up delivering advanced engineering solutions across safety-critical sectors. We're seeking a Senior Project Manager to take ownership of complex, multi-disciplinary programmes from bid through to delivery.

In this high-impact role, you'll manage 4–8 concurrent projects, working cross-functionally to drive clarity, alignment, and successful outcomes. You'll influence stakeholders at every level, from OEM customers and suppliers to internal leadership, while applying best-practice project methodologies to deliver on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead full lifecycle project delivery, from bid support through production handover.
  • Oversee planning, scheduling, cost control, risk, and resource management across multiple concurrent projects.
  • Support bid management processes (e.g. Shipley), contributing to successful programme wins.
  • Apply structured project methodologies including gated development, APQP, Earned Value, and Six Sigma.
  • Provide financial oversight including forecasting, budget tracking, and reporting.
  • Collaborate closely with senior stakeholders (COO, CTO, CFO, VP Engineering, BD) to ensure alignment and strategic focus.
  • Champion continuous improvement, embedding process enhancements across delivery operations.

About You

  • Degree in Engineering or a related discipline; PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent certification highly desirable.
  • 5+ years’ experience managing complex engineering or technical projects, ideally in regulated or safety-critical environments.
  • Strong command of project frameworks such as APQP, gated processes, and Earned Value.
  • Six Sigma Green or Black Belt preferred, with a solid understanding of QA/QC principles.
  • Commercially aware, with excellent financial control and reporting skills.
  • A confident communicator with proven stakeholder engagement, leadership, and team coordination capabilities.
  • Proactive, process-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, scale-up environment.
