Senior Software Developer - Java / Python with Delphi

Were looking for an experienced Software Engineer (Java/Python) to join a high-profile government project focused on modernising and integrating complex systems within a secure environment.

Youll work across backend development, integration and automation with occasional support for legacy Delphi components as part of wider platform migration and maintenance.

Key Skills & Experience

Essential:

• Strong experience developing with Java and/or Python
• Exposure to Delphi
• Experience with AWS cloud environments and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, etc.)
• Familiarity with YAML/JSON and relational databases (Postgres, DB2, or similar)
• Experience working in agile, test-driven environments

Desirable:

• Government / public sector experience

Contract Details

• Outside IR35
• Remote
• Immediate start / within 2 weeks
