ARCANIX is a funded startup founded by games industry veterans, building a SaaS platform powered by generative AI to democratise LiveOps for games.

About the Role

We’re hiring a hands-on Senior Level Full-Stack Developer to lead day-to-day technical work across our platform and AI integrations. You may already have senior level experience, or be ready to make the step up from a mid level role. Experience in AI/LLM is preferred but not required, experience is required as a full-stack developer with experience building SaaS. This is a key early-stage role in a growing team, offering the chance to make a real impact on a product from the ground up.

There’s potential for this role to grow into a CTO position over time, but that’s optional—our main priority is bringing in a strong senior developer now.

Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to full-stack development of our SaaS platform
• Help shape the technical direction and architecture, in particular ensuring stability and scalability of the solution
• Use a ‘fail fast’, ‘ship it’ and problem solving approach, with rapid testing and iteration
• Evaluate the transition of the platform from using third-party tools (primarily bubble.io for prototyping purposes) to deciding the language and framework for a scalable SaaS platform
• Work closely with founders and product team
• Support scaling and future team growth
• Build, or collaborate with developers building, LLM-powered features that support game developers
• Undertake, or collaborate with developers undertaking, R&D, prototyping and testing new AI capabilities and data integrations

Required Skills and Experience

• Senior-level full-stack experience building SaaS
• Comfortable working in small, fast-moving environments, and able to think ‘out of the box’
• Comfortable working remotely, with great written and verbal communication skills
• Passion for creating great user experiences
• Fluency in spoken and written English

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Experience with LLMs / generative AI frameworks
• Comfortable working in small, fast-moving environments
• Experience managing other developers
• Experience working on R&D projects

Pay range and compensation package

£60-80k pa + potential for equity/stock options. Package will vary depending on experience level of the candidate. High-impact role with technical ownership, and optional path to CTO if that aligns with your goals.
