We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in platform engineering, streaming services, data platforms and AWS cloud technology, leading teams and directing engineering workloads.

Skills required:

Experience with Real Time (or near Real Time) streaming systems
Experience leading a team of data engineers, with the ability to coach others, organise and run code reviews
Experience in AWS cloud services, particularly Lambda, S3, and EKS, API Gateway
Strong experience with Python
Strong experience in Kafka
Strong experience of GitHub actions, Terraform
Excellent understanding of data streaming architectures and best practices
