PMO Lead

ARM is supporting a leading engineering organisation in the search for a PMO Lead to join a major Digital Engineering and Systems Integration programme.

This role will support the delivery and governance of Digital Thread initiatives, helping to coordinate the integration of engineering platforms, enterprise applications, and cross-functional technology solutions. Working closely with programme stakeholders, technical teams, architects, and suppliers, you will play a key role in ensuring projects are effectively planned, tracked, and delivered.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate Digital Thread and systems integration initiatives across multiple teams and suppliers.
• Maintain programme plans, milestones, risks, issues, dependencies, and action trackers.
• Support governance activities, reporting, and steering committee preparation.
• Track progress against delivery plans and proactively identify challenges and dependencies.
• Facilitate project meetings, technical workshops, and stakeholder engagements.
• Manage follow-up actions and ensure timely closure of key activities.
• Support integration roadmaps and implementation plans.
• Coordinate supplier deliverables and stakeholder requirements.
• Maintain project documentation, decision logs, and reporting artefacts.

About You

• Experience in a PMO, PMO Lead, Project Coordination, or Technical Project Management role.
• Strong planning, governance, reporting, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working on complex IT, Engineering IT, or systems integration programmes.
• Comfortable engaging with technical teams, architects, business stakeholders, and external suppliers.
• Good understanding of system integration concepts and application interfaces.
• Strong documentation, presentation, and communication skills.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project.

Desirable Experience

• Digital Thread or Digital Engineering programmes.
• PLM, ALM, MBSE, or Requirements Management environments.
• Teamcenter, IBM ELM, or DOORS.
• REST APIs, OSLC, integration architectures, and data flows.
• Aerospace & Defence, Manufacturing, or other complex engineering sectors.
