Senior Engineer

Job DescriptionThis position offers an outstanding opportunity for a highly motivated IP Verification Engineer to join Arm’s SoC Management IP team.Our group develops and verifies infrastructure IP that is fundamental to Arm-based systems, including message handling, interrupt control, and performance monitoring components. These IPs are critical to SoCs ranging from real-time embedded platforms to large-scale cloud computing.You will collaborate with architects, designers, and verification engineers to produce high-quality IP by applying advanced verification methodologies and tools.ResponsibilitiesAs a member of the verification team, you will:Develop and own verification plans for IP blocks based on architecture and build specificationsBuild and implement SystemVerilog/UVM-based verification environments, including testbenches, stimulus, and checkersDefine functional and code coverage goals and drive coverage closureDebug RTL and verification issues, working closely with build and architecture teams to resolve problemsComplete regression testing and analyze failures to root causeSupport the advancement and refinement of verification methodologies and infrastructureParticipate in building and verification reviews, providing feedback to improve build quality and verifiabilityCollaborate with teams across Arm to ensure delivery of high-quality IPNecessary Skills and ExperienceYou will possess:Experience in RTL verification, including development of constrained-random environmentsStrong proficiency in SystemVerilog and familiarity with UVM or similar methodologiesExperience in writing test plans, developing testbenches, and driving coverage closureGood debugging and problem-solving skills in complex simulation environmentsUnderstanding of verification fundamentals, including functional coverage and assertionsExperience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl, or similar) for automationStrong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a teamPreferred Skills and ExperienceFamiliarity with AMBA protocols (AXI, AHB, APB, or CHI or equivalent experience)Experience with system-level or SoC verification flowsKnowledge of interrupt handling, message-based communication, or performance monitoring architecturesExperience with formal verification, emulation, or low-power verification techniquesExposure to debug or trace infrastructuresEducation & QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experienceAccommodations at ArmAt Arm, we want to build extraordinary teams.
