Business Development Manager
Business Development Manager with an Estimating background now required to join one of the UK's most prestigious structural steelwork contractors circa 20m business.
They are looking for a "Technical Closer." You will be the face of the business across London and the South East, targeting high-value steelwork packages (Commercial, Infrastructure, and Energy).
This role is about more than just finding leads; it's about using your technical expertise to influence the pre-tender stage and secure the "right" projects for their world-class fabrication facility.
Ideally, they are looking for someone with an Estimating or Pre-Construction background who can sit down with a Tier 1 contractor, look at a complex drawing, and talk intelligently about value engineering, connection design, and site logistics.
- You should have project wins already within London and SE Main Contractor market.
- Ability to understand BQs and structural complexities is essential.
Salary: Around 70,000 (negotiable based on your specific track record) plus car/allowance and high reward bonus schemes
