Key Account Manager – IT Partnerships
Northwest (Remote / Field-Based)
Up to £50,000 + Company Car + OTE (£20k)
We’re partnering with a fast-growing technology business looking to strengthen its commercial team with the addition of an experienced, relationship-led sales professional. If you thrive on building long-term partnerships, spotting growth opportunities, and becoming a trusted advisor to your customers, this is a role where you can genuinely make an impact.
This is a field-based position covering the Northwest and wider UK, with regular client visits and occasional travel to HQ for meetings and events.
The Role
You’ll take ownership of a portfolio of key accounts, developing a deep understanding of each customer’s business, goals, and challenges. Your focus will be on strengthening relationships, driving account growth, and uncovering new opportunities to add value, positioning yourself as a key partner rather than just a supplier.

- Creating and delivering account plans that drive long-term growth and retention
- Identifying and converting new business opportunities within existing and new customers
- Acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders
- Understanding customer challenges and providing tailored solutions
- Collaborating with internal teams across Sales, Marketing, Purchasing, and Support
- Sharing market and customer insights to influence business strategy
- Keeping up to date with industry trends, competitors, and market developments
- Achieving revenue targets and KPIs across your account base
- Representing the business at client meetings, events, and occasional evening engagements
- Monitoring account performance and using data to guide decision-making
About You
You’re a commercially minded relationship builder who is confident engaging with senior stakeholders and passionate about delivering long-term value to customers. You’ll have proven experience in account management, sales, or partnerships, ideally within the IT channel, CRM, SI, or software space, along with a strong track record of growing revenue through existing accounts.
You’ll be comfortable identifying and closing new opportunities, presenting solutions, and influencing decision-makers. Strong communication skills, commercial awareness, and a proactive, self-motivated approach are essential.
Location
Field-based across the Northwest and wider UK, with travel to customer sites and to a Northwest HQ for key meetings and events.
