You will act as the bridge between Marketing activity and the Senior Sales / Key Account team — ensuring opportunities are qualified, nurtured, and professionally transitioned.

The Core Purpose of the Role
Your objective is to build, qualify, and nurture a consistent flow of sales-ready opportunities for the Key Account Management team.
This is not transactional selling.
It is structured pipeline development and relationship initiation.
You will:
- Identify and engage ideal customer profiles
- Handle inbound enquiries with professionalism and urgency
- Qualify prospects against defined commercial criteria
- Develop early-stage relationships with decision-makers
- Transition opportunities seamlessly to senior sales colleagues
Key Responsibilities
Outbound Prospect Development
- Identify target accounts aligned to defined ICP
- Engage decision-makers via LinkedIn and structured outreach
- Personalise messaging within approved frameworks
- Execute multi-touch cadence campaigns (email, phone, LinkedIn)
- Initiate conversations and secure qualified meetings
This is disciplined, daily activity with measurable output expectations.
Inbound Lead Handling
- Manage enquiries generated via marketing campaigns, events, and seminars
- Respond promptly and professionally
- Conduct structured qualification conversations
- Identify commercial potential and urgency
- Convert interest into scheduled meetings for Senior Sales
Speed and quality of response will directly influence pipeline value.
Relationship Development
- Build rapport with business owners and senior decision-makers
- Understand commercial challenges and strategic priorities
- Position solutions in a consultative manner
- Maintain engagement through follow-up sequences where appropriate
The emphasis is on credibility and consistency - not high-pressure tactics.
CRM & Pipeline Management
- Maintain accurate, real-time CRM records
- Log all engagement activity
- Manage follow-ups and nurture timelines
- Ensure clean handover notes for Key Account Managers
Process discipline is critical in this role.
