Underwriting Data Technician Apprentice (Generali)

Principal Accountabilities

• Produce regular and ad-hoc underwriting reporting including assisting with production of regular reporting for underwriters and the underwriting function including the portfolio management process reporting
• Help increase the business insight that can be extracted from the portfolio, using existing reporting and infrastructure capabilities, and enabling a more structured, disciplined use of data in the organisation
• Continuous monitoring of selected key performance indicators via Power BI dashboards
• Help increase data quality within the business
• Co-ordination and gathering of data for reporting purposes from across the team
• Provide assistance, where required, in project work focusing in process improvement and working with IT in order to enhance the current set up of underwriting claims
• Assist Cat Modelling team in providing support for non-complex risk analysis
• Assist Head of Technical Excellence in providing support to the underwriting function
