Underwriting Data Technician Apprentice (Generali)
The Underwriting Data Technician Apprentice will support the Technical Excellence Underwriting team with tasks such as: Reporting Data analysis Data Cleansing Cat Analysis.
Role
Principal Accountabilities
- Produce regular and ad-hoc underwriting reporting including assisting with production of regular reporting for underwriters and the underwriting function including the portfolio management process reporting
- Help increase the business insight that can be extracted from the portfolio, using existing reporting and infrastructure capabilities, and enabling a more structured, disciplined use of data in the organisation
- Continuous monitoring of selected key performance indicators via Power BI dashboards
- Help increase data quality within the business
- Co-ordination and gathering of data for reporting purposes from across the team
- Provide assistance, where required, in project work focusing in process improvement and working with IT in order to enhance the current set up of underwriting claims
- Assist Cat Modelling team in providing support for non-complex risk analysis
- Assist Head of Technical Excellence in providing support to the underwriting function
