Recruitment Associate Director – Technology – London – Base £70k–£90k

This is a retained search firm working with venture capital, private equity, growth equity and corporate tech clients to place mid-to-senior leadership across Technology, Engineering and Data. Think Heads of, VPs and C-suite. Average fees sit between £30k and £60k, and 60% of their work comes from within their internal network – passed on from existing relationships.
They've built a strong foundation with a proven leader running the Product practice. Now they're looking to replicate that success across Data and Software Engineering – and they need someone who can win retained work, deliver searches and help shape the desk.
What's the Role?
- Deliver retained and project-based searches from mid-level through to senior leadership roles
- Build and expand client relationships across tech, data and engineering sectors
- Win new business while also capitalising on warm introductions from within the network
- Work closely with researchers and delivery consultants to execute on mandates

What They're Looking For:
- 5–10 years in recruitment, ideally with a mix of contingent and retained experience
- Proven ability to sell and win retained work – comfortable engaging CTOs and senior leadership
- Driven, proactive and commercially sharp – someone who wins new business and expands accounts
- A team player who can collaborate across researchers and delivery consultants on projects
Compensation & Perks:
- Base salary £70k–£90k
