Senior Recruitment Consultant
Senior Recruitment Consultant (Remote)
Location: Remote (UK-based, North West preferred)
Salary: Competitive + Uncapped Commission + Leadership Opportunity
Overview
A high-growth, specialist technology recruitment business is seeking an experienced Recruitment Consultant to join its fully remote team.
Operating globally, the company partners with start-ups and scale-ups (Seed to Series B) to build high-impact teams across Go-To-Market and Product functions. It works closely with founders and leadership teams, positioning itself as a genuine talent partner rather than a transactional recruiter.
This hire will play a key role in the next phase of growth—either as a high-performing individual contributor or as an early-stage team leader, with the opportunity to build out a desk and a team.
The Opportunity
This is a remote-first role offering significant autonomy, trust, and progression.
The successful individual will work directly alongside the founder, receiving hands-on support and development while helping to scale the business. The position suits someone who has already proven themselves in recruitment and is now looking for more ownership, flexibility, and long-term upside.
There are two clear pathways:
- Senior Consultant: Build and scale a high-performing desk within a specialist vertical
- Team Lead (Emerging): Begin shaping a team, mentoring junior consultants, and becoming a key figure within the business
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Client Ownership
- Win and develop new business with high-growth tech companies globally
- Build relationships with founders, hiring managers, and senior stakeholders
- Deliver consultative, high-quality recruitment solutions aligned to long-term hiring strategies
Candidate Delivery (GTM / Product Focus)
- Identify, engage, and place high-calibre talent across Go-To-Market and Product roles
- Operate across international markets (Europe, US, APAC)
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes with a focus on quality over volume
Market Expertise
- Develop deep knowledge of tech hiring trends within start-up and scale-up environments
- Act as a trusted advisor to both clients and candidates
- Contribute to market insights and strategic hiring discussions
Candidate Profile
This role is suited to a recruiter who is credible, thoughtful, and relationship-led—not overly sales-driven, but commercially sharp and principled in their approach.
Essential Experience:
- Minimum 1+ year experience in recruitment
- Proven track record of winning business
- Experience managing roles end-to-end
Key Attributes:
- Intelligent, articulate, and consultative in approach
- Down-to-earth with strong relationship-building skills
- High integrity—focused on doing the right thing for clients and candidates
- Self-motivated and comfortable working in a fully remote environment
- Commercially aware without being overly aggressive in sales style
Additional Indicators of Fit:
- Background or strong interest in sport (particularly team sports) is advantageous
- Experience in tech, SaaS, or start-up recruitment is beneficial
- North West-based candidates preferred, though not essential
