The Role
The Trainee Contracts Recruitment Consultant will follow a structured, two-phase development pathway, beginning with candidate delivery before progressing into a full 360 recruitment role.
The position offers hands-on training, mentorship from experienced consultants, and exposure to a high-performance, revenue-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Phase 1: Recruitment & Delivery
- Source, engage, and qualify freelance technology professionals within a specialist market
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with contractors across international regions
- Develop a strong understanding of market dynamics, including skill sets, availability, and contract rates
- Map target markets and generate valuable market intelligence (leads, hiring trends, opportunities)
- Support live roles by matching candidates to client requirements
Phase 2: Sales & Business Development
- Transition into a 360 recruitment role with increasing commercial responsibility
- Identify and develop new business opportunities
- Build relationships with hiring managers and key decision-makers
- Take ownership of job briefs and manage recruitment processes end-to-end
- Progress towards full client and account ownership
Training and Development
- Structured onboarding and ongoing training programme
- Clear progression framework into 360 recruitment and leadership roles
- 1:1 mentoring from senior consultants and top performers
- Continuous development in both recruitment delivery and business development
Candidate Profile

Preferred Background:

- 1–3 years’ professional experience in a commercial setting
