Senior Embedded Software Engineer - Northamptonshire (Hybrid) - up to £70,000 + Benefits - Ref 1954

I am currently recruiting for a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to work for a family-owned manufacturer of innovative, industry leading technology based in Northamptonshire, but on a hybrid basis. Salary up to £70,000 + Benefits.

To support the growth of the business and to further exploit the markets they operate within they have the need to appoint another Senior Embedded Software Engineer on a permanent basis.

In this role as a Senior Embedded Software Engineer, you will be responsible for the development of robust software typically in C/C++ for my clients highly advanced electromechanical products. A primary focus currently is around networking of the systems via VPN to an existing Cloud infrastructure. You will be utilising Jira and/or Github and will be working in a multi-disciplined team of engineers including Mechanical, Controls and Software.

Essential Requirements:

• Experience programming in C/C++

Desirable Requirements:

• Experience with Github, Jira or similar
• Experience with networking (ideally VPN's or the Cloud)
• Understanding of PLCs and HMIs
• Experience with Engine Control Units (ECUs), Motors or Variable Speed Drives (VSD's)
• Experience with Simulink
