Apprentice Digital Support Technician
This exciting role combines internal IT support with customer-facing technical support for cutting-edge pharmacy automation and dispensing robots. You'll help install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain advanced hardware and software, providing support both remotely and on-site.
Role
- Technical support and troubleshooting
- Provide in-person, telephone, and email support for hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
- Assist customers with setup, configuration, and troubleshooting for both software and hardware installations.
- Diagnose, test, and repair mechanical and electrical issues as needed.
- Facilitate software deployment, updates, and customer training.
- Attend trade shows and industry events to network and promote Avonnex’s offerings.
Training
An apprenticeship consists of a full-time role whilst being enrolled onto a course. The course is delivered in weekly online sessions via Zoom. Your week will be an 80/20 split, with 80% on-the-job, and 20% studying/online sessions.
There is a full-time role available at the end of the apprenticeship for the right candidate, and an opportunity to progress onto a Level 4 programme if agreed as part of the individual’s continued personal development plan.
