OUTBOUND TELESALES EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Previous SaaS or technical sales experience would be advantageous, the organisation is interested in finding the right person fit who has experience of outbound appointment setting / lead generation— someone with energy, drive, curiosity and a strong work ethic who wants to build a successful career in sales.
SALARY: £40,000 per annum OTE (£28,500 - £32,500 per annum Basic) + Benefits
LOCATION: Hybrid working with a minimum of 3 days a week from the office in Worthing, West Sussex
JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent
WORKING HOURS: Monday to Friday 09:00 – 17:30

Working closely with experienced sales professionals, you will help create qualified opportunities and support business growth through proactive relationship building.
The Business Development Representative / Sales Executive will play an important role in pipeline development, CRM management, account-based outreach and identifying opportunities within target organisations.

DUTIES
Your duties as the Business Development Representative / Sales Executive include:
- Generate New Opportunities: Identify and qualify prospective customers through outbound prospecting, lead generation and business development activity
- Conduct Market Research: Research organisations, industries, contacts and decision-makers to support targeted sales campaigns
- Support Account Penetration: Assist with strategic account plans and account-based outreach programmes
- Follow up Marketing Leads: Respond to inbound enquiries and marketing-generated opportunities professionally and promptly
- Re-Engage Prospects: Follow up leads generated through campaigns, webinars, events and digital marketing activities
- Build Relationships: Establish rapport with prospective customers and identify potential business opportunities
- Support Sales Campaigns: Work closely with Account Managers and the Enterprise Account Manager to maximise pipeline generation
- Maintain CRM Records: Ensure customer interactions, activities and opportunities are accurately recorded
- Track Engagement Activity: Monitor prospect engagement and maintain strong pipeline hygiene
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work effectively with sales, marketing and internal departments to support growth objectives

ESSENTIAL
- Experience in business development, telesales, outbound calling, lead generation or customer-facing sales roles
- Able to engage confidently with prospective customers and build professional relationships
- Positive, resilient and proactive approach to business development activity
- Able to manage multiple priorities and maintain attention to detail
- Comfortable maintaining accurate records and managing customer data
- Able to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities
- Dependable, proactive and committed to delivering excellent standards
- Strong ability to prioritise workload and manage follow-up activity effectively
- Keen to develop consultative sales, technology sales and relationship management skills
DESIRABLE
- Exposure to SaaS, IT, managed services or technology sales environments
- Experience using CRM platforms to manage opportunities and customer interactions
- Experience of prospecting, pipeline generation or campaign follow-up
