SALARY: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum + Benefits

JOB OVERVIEW
We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Citrix Administrator / Infrastructure Engineer with a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology / IT or a related field, experience in a similar role and a strong understanding of Citrix infrastructure, including servers, applications, and user access.
As the Citrix Administrator / Infrastructure Engineer you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the Citrix infrastructure to ensure seamless delivery of virtual applications and desktops to end-users. This includes configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting Citrix environments, and collaborating with other IT teams to optimise performance and user experience.
DUTIES
Your duties as a Citrix Administrator / Infrastructure Engineer will include:
- Install, configure, and maintain Citrix infrastructure, including servers, applications, and user access
- Monitor and troubleshoot Citrix environments to ensure maximum uptime and user productivity
- Collaborate with other Teams / Departments to ensure integration and functionality of Citrix with other systems
- Perform regular maintenance and updates to Citrix systems
- Conduct performance tuning and optimisation of Citrix environments
- Create and maintain documentation for Citrix systems and processes
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
As the Citrix Administrator / Infrastructure Engineer you will possess the following:
Essential
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology / IT or a related field
- Experience as a Citrix Administrator
- Strong understanding of Citrix infrastructure, including servers, applications, and user access
- Experience with Citrix performance tuning and optimisation
- Ability to troubleshoot complex Citrix issues across multiple architectures
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Citrix Certified Associate - Virtualization (CCA-V) is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and highly organised
- Ability to manage priorities and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong team player with a collaborative mindset
Desired
- Broad experience with Citrix DaaS and VDI administration
- Knowledge of PowerShell scripting for automation tasks
- Strong familiarity with Windows Server operating systems and Active Directory
- Experienced in working with VMWare, HyperV and containerised virtualised environments
- Strong problem-solving, analytical and writing skills
- Comfortable working independently or as part of a team
- Training / Coaching end-users in Microsoft best practice
- A self-starter with a sense of urgency, and an individual who is consistently looking to learn new technologies
- Experience working in financial services, legal, or debt recovery sectors
- Awareness of security frameworks and ITIL best practices
