We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Full Stack Developer / Software Developer with strong PHP and Ruby experience to help design, develop and deliver world-class digital systems.

As a Full Stack Developer / Software Developer you will work on enhancing web-based applications that support sporting facilities and improve digital engagement for users around the world.

The Full Stack Developer / Software Developer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-performance solutions using modern technologies and frameworks.

DUTIES

Your duties as the Full Stack Developer / Software Developer include:

  • Develop And Maintain web applications using PHP (CodeIgniter) and Ruby (Ruby on Rails)
  • Enhance And Support internal tools and consumer-facing platforms
  • Collaborate Closely with internal teams and partners to deliver innovative, reliable solutions
  • Apply Best Practices for development, testing, and deployment
  • Optimise Performance across applications to improve scalability and user experience
  • Implement AI Tools and contribute to integrating AI-driven features across systems
  • Contribute To Continuous Improvement in development processes and code quality

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience of working in full stack or software development roles
  • Strong skills in PHP (CodeIgniter) and Ruby (Ruby on Rails)
  • Solid understanding of the Hotwire suite (Turbo, Turbo Native, Stimulus JS)
  • Experience with AWS, Docker or similar technologies
  • Clean, maintainable coding style with good documentation habits
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Interest in sport and emerging AI applications
