SALARY: £65,000 to £75,000 per annum (depending on experience) + Benefits
LOCATION: Remote Working Available. For candidates who prefer Hybrid / Office based work there is that option too if you live within a commutable distance to Heathrow Airport, Hounslow, West London

JOB OVERVIEW
This is an exciting opportunity for a Lead Systems Analyst to shape technology and business change across a complex multi-application environment.
The Lead Systems Analyst will lead early discovery, translate business objectives into clear systems requirements and assess impacts across processes, integrations and global platforms.
Working across IT, Finance, Compliance, Projects and business teams, the Lead Systems Analyst will strengthen data integrity, regulatory assurance and delivery quality while mentoring other analysts.
On-the-job and role-specific training will support continued knowledge of systems, processes and tools.
DUTIES
Your duties as the Lead Systems Analyst include:
- Leadership and Mentoring: Guide analysts across multiple projects, support escalations, conduct peer reviews and promote consistent analysis standards
- Discovery and Requirements: Lead feasibility and impact analysis, clarify business drivers and translate complex objectives into traceable, testable systems requirements
- Data Integrity and Flows: Map end-to-end data flows, identify gaps and inconsistencies, maintain documentation and help resolve data issues across systems and integrations
- Data Quality Controls: Define validation rules, monitoring and controls to identify data-quality issues proactively and support accurate reporting
- Compliance and Regulation: Translate GDPR, customs, duty-calculation and other regulatory obligations into system controls, monitoring and audit evidence
- Stakeholder Management: Bridge business, IT, Finance, Compliance, Project and global teams, provide clear updates and represent data and compliance requirements in governance forums
- Testing and Change: Coordinate requirements traceability, UAT and QA validation, manage change impacts and support release readiness
- Release and BAU Transition: Coordinate go-live, cutover, business validation, knowledge transfer and post-release issue prioritisation, confirming solutions are stable and meeting business needs
- Continuous Improvement: Improve analysis practices, templates, governance and documentation, sharing lessons learned across future initiatives
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- Demonstrable lead or senior-level experience in a data, compliance or systems analysis role within a technology-led environment
- Strong requirements elicitation, documentation, traceability, process mapping and data-flow analysis skills
- Ability to understand unfamiliar data flows, investigate issues and guide other analysts through complex analysis
- Ability to read and interpret SQL queries to interrogate data and validate system outputs
- Advanced capability with process and data-flow mapping tools such as Visio or equivalent
- Working knowledge of integrations, system interactions, data quality, Excel, reporting tools, backlog management and UAT
- Experience using Jira or Azure DevOps, Confluence and structured BA/SA governance artefacts
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across technical and non-technical teams
- Analytical, proactive, collaborative and detail-focused approach, with the organisation and adaptability to manage ambiguity and changing priorities
- Ability to challenge assumptions constructively, take accountability and drive continuous improvement
