Summer Internship – Brand Digital Platforms

Duration: 8–12 weeks (Summer 2026)

We craft bold, high-performance products with a strong focus on transparency and innovation. We’re offering an exciting internship to students or recent graduates seeking to gain real-world experience.

Role Overview: As a 100% digital brand, our platforms are more than a store; it is the digital space where customers discover our world. This is a hands-on technical role designed to evolve our e-commerce platforms into a refined, immersive, and editorial experience. You will work closely with the creative and marketing teams, supporting the development of our new digital infrastructure, ensuring our systems are as high-performance as our fragrances.

Aligned with our 2026 Digital Strategy, you will focus on three core pillars:

1. E-commerce Development

• User Experience (UX): Improve navigation and the customer journey to ensure a premium discovery experience.
• Refining Layouts: Develop and enhance homepage, collection, and product page layouts to reflect a luxury editorial feel.
• Feature Implementation: Build and test new features, such as product recommendations and immersive "discovery" elements.
• Mobile Optimization: Ensure all layouts are perfectly responsive and lightning-fast across all devices.

2. Digital Brand Experience

• Translating Vision: Work with the creative team to turn graphic assets and brand direction into elegant, functional web code.
• Testing & Launch: Lead the QA (Quality Assurance) testing for new digital features before they go live to our global community.
• Market Intelligence Archive: Participate in the hands-on evaluation of our extensive fragrance library. You will help build and maintain a digital reference archive of ATH products.
• Circular Economy Project (Pilot): Support the technical build and listings of a "pre-loved" fragrance marketplace, facilitating a sustainable, second-life platform for our community to discover niche scents and hundreds of industry-leading fragrances.

3. Systems & Workspace Infrastructure

• Platform Maintenance: Manage and optimise our Google Workspace, domain settings, and back-end configurations.
• Technical Integration: Ensure seamless connectivity between our e-commerce storefronts and our internal operations/stock systems.
• Data & Analytics: Support the setup of tracking and reporting tools to better understand our global customer base.

Required:

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a university program in Computer Science, Web Development, UX/UI Design, or Digital Systems.
• Ability to work well within a small, fast-paced team environment.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Direct experience with Shopify (Liquid) or similar modern e-commerce platforms.
• A strong visual sensibility and the ability to follow a luxury brand’s aesthetic.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and timekeeping skills to meet deadlines.

Preferred:

• Interest in the Niche fragrance industry and ethical production.
• Knowledge of Google Workspace administration and domain management.
• Previous experience in building or maintaining a live e-commerce store.

• Paid Internship: Paid above the UK National Minimum Wage.
• Experience: Hands-on mentorship from industry professionals and exposure to multiple departments.
• 4 days per week work scheme (Monday to Thursday)
