OR14910-SAP Payroll Specialist - Oracle (Interim)

Aatom Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced SAP Payroll Specialist to support a major Oracle implementation programme for a local authority client. This is an exciting interim opportunity for a skilled professional to contribute to a high-impact transformation project.

• Analyse existing SAP HR and Payroll processes to define and document business and functional requirements for Oracle.
• Collaborate with functional leads to map SAP processes into Oracle-compatible workflows.
• Support configuration, integration, reporting, and data migration activities using SAP expertise.
• Respond to queries from the systems integrator (SI) regarding SAP-based requirements and logic.
• Participate in data mapping, design sessions, and system playbacks.
• Provide insights into SAP HR/Payroll configuration and business processes.
• Assist in writing Oracle report specifications based on SAP reporting outputs.
• Support UAT and PPR testing phases, investigating issues from a SAP perspective.
• Advise on UK payroll legislation and HMRC requirements during design and migration.

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP Payroll and HR modules.
• Familiarity with Oracle Cloud HR/Payroll is highly desirable.
• Proven experience in system migrations or ERP transformations.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment.

• Hybrid with a good part of the work being possible remote, with occasional on-site presence required at Chichester, particularly during key phases of the Oracle implementation.
