Head of Sales - Confidential Opportunity
The Opportunity We are partnering confidentially with a fast-scaling carbon accounting platform transforming how mid-market and enterprise organisations measure, manage and reduce emissions across Scope 1, 2 and 3. Following strong product-market fit in the UK and early traction across Europe, the business is hiring its first dedicated Head of Sales to build and lead a high-performance commercial function. This is a pivotal leadership hire. You will define the GTM engine, hire and scale the team, and establish the company as a category leader in carbon data and compliance enablement.The Product A SaaS platform enabling organisations to:
- Automate carbon measurement across Scope 1-3
- Centralise emissions data from ERP, procurement, logistics and supplier systems
- Support CSRD, SECR, TCFD and emerging regulatory frameworks
- Deliver audit-ready reporting and board-level ESG insights
- Drive supplier engagement and Scope 3 reduction strategies
- Define and execute the UK and EU commercial strategy
- Own revenue targets, forecasting and pipeline health
- Establish ICP clarity, vertical focus and pricing strategy
- Drive predictable ARR growth
- Hire, coach and scale a team of AEs, SDRs and Sales Ops
- Implement MEDDPICC / structured enterprise sales methodology
- Build performance culture and accountability
- Develop succession planning within the function
- Personally lead strategic enterprise deals (?50k-?250k ARR)
- Navigate CFO, CSO, Procurement and IT stakeholders
- Manage 6-12 month sales cycles
- Drive executive alignment and value-led selling
- Partner with Marketing on demand generation and positioning
- Collaborate with Product on roadmap feedback
- Work closely with Customer Success to reduce churn and drive expansion
- 8+ years B2B SaaS sales experience
- 3+ years in a leadership role (building and scaling teams)
- Experience selling enterprise SaaS
- Strong exposure to Sustainability SaaS, ESG, Carbon Accounting, Supply Chain SaaS or adjacent enterprise compliance platforms
- Proven track record of hitting and exceeding revenue targets
- Experience implementing sales process, forecasting discipline and CRM hygiene
- Experience selling into CFO, Sustainability or Procurement functions
- Familiarity with CSRD, SECR or Scope 3 frameworks
- Experience in VC-backed scaling environments
- Builder mentality - comfortable in ambiguity
