Sage Intacct Implementation Consultant
Sage Intacct Implementation Lead (Contract) 6-month contract We are supporting a growing, forward-thinking business undertaking a key finance transformation project, moving from Sage 50 to Sage Intacct. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a central role in a full system implementation, working closely with a specialist SI partner to deliver this project.The Role You will act as the finance lead on the implementation, ensuring the new system is fit for purpose, fully tested, and successfully adopted across the business.Key Responsibilities
- Lead the finance workstream for the migration from Sage 50 to Sage Intacct
- Partner closely with the SI to support system configuration and design
- Own data migration, validation and reconciliation between systems
- Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing), ensuring outputs are accurate and aligned with business requirements
- Help design and optimise finance processes, controls and reporting within the new system
- Deliver user training and support adoption across the finance team and wider business
- Act as the key bridge between finance and technical teams throughout the project
- Proven experience implementing or upgrading to Sage Intacct (or similar cloud ERP systems)
- Strong understanding of finance processes (month-end, reporting, controls, etc.)
- Experience working alongside SI partners on system implementations
- Hands-on with data migration, UAT and system testing
- Confident communicator, able to engage both finance and non-finance stakeholders
- Qualified Accountant with 3+ years experience
- Immediately available (or available on short notice)
