Purchasing Administrator

About the role:

We are seeking a Purchasing Administrator to join our internal Purchasing Team. The ideal

candidate will be proactive, motivated with the ability to prioritise in a fast paced demanding

environment and the initiative to effectively and efficiently meet the demands of the team.

We are looking for a team player, with a can-do attitude and a strong desire to support

customers by always offering exceptional service. As well as an aptitude for administration

including maintaining data within our systems and other back-office duties.

You will be required to understand supplier agreements at a commercial level with a view of

protecting and increasing company net profitability.

Amongst other tasks, you will be responsible for:

• Raising Purchase Orders to suppliers

• Sourcing Products (pricing and stock availability)

• Purchasing goods online

• Procurement of software via Marketplaces

• Negotiating better pricing with suppliers

• Maintaining POP report

• Handling Incoming calls for Academia

• Managing purchasing related tickets and queries on our online ticketing system

Zendesk.

• Log, maintain and report on RMA’s

• Other administration duties as required
