Product Owner

Product Owner

London (Hybrid — 3 days in office)

£65,000

This is an opportunity to join a global SaaS business whose products are used at scale across multiple international markets. With millions of users relying on their platform, this is a rare chance to work on products that genuinely matter — with the data, reach and customer base that very few SaaS employers can offer.

The Role

You'll own the "what" and the "why" of your product area, working across multiple squads and initiatives. You'll drive backlog prioritisation, shape product direction, and act as the connective tissue between customers, stakeholders, and delivery teams — championing outcomes over outputs and grounding every decision in customer insight and strategic value.

What you'll be doing

  • Building deep understanding of users and the market to ensure the product delivers maximum customer value
  • Owning and curating a prioritised backlog based on customer value, business priorities, and technical feasibility
  • Working closely with Product Managers to shape roadmap direction, release timing, and feature content
  • Collaborating with development teams on sprint planning, sprint goals, and clear acceptance criteria
  • Proactively engaging stakeholders to shape and clarify requirements before work reaches engineering
  • Acting as the primary point of contact across sales, operations, UX, marketing, data, and leadership
  • Running demos to gather feedback, validate direction, and close the loop with customers
  • Sharing product knowledge and championing best practice across teams

What we're looking for

  • 3+ years in product ownership, product management, or a closely aligned discipline
  • Essential: hands-on experience working on SaaS products
  • A genuine product mindset — you think in problems and outcomes, not features and tickets
  • Experience working across multiple squads and concurrent initiatives
  • Strongly outcome-focused, with a track record of measuring success and linking decisions back to customer and business impact
  • Discovery-led — you validate before you build, and you bring data and customer insight into every prioritisation decision
  • Skilled at bringing engineering and stakeholders along on the journey — collaborative, clear, and influential
  • Confident challenging stakeholders and making trade-off decisions when needed
  • A self-starter who takes initiative and thrives in a fast-paced, complex product environment
