Software Developer (Java & C# / .NET Core)

Hybrid - 3 days per week on-site

£35,000 - £40,000 per annum

We are supporting a growing technology consultancy working with a range of clients to design, build, and deliver modern digital solutions. Our team thrives on collaboration, curiosity, and clean code - and we're now looking for a Software Developer who's confident working with both Java and C# / .NET Core.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work across varied client projects, build your technical depth, and gain exposure to multiple modern tech stacks.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using Java and C# / .NET Core
• Build and consume RESTful APIs and microservices
• Collaborate with project teams to deliver clean, maintainable, and scalable code
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and technical planning
• Support deployment, testing, and maintenance of client solutions

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years commercial experience with Java (ideally using Spring Boot or Hibernate)
• 1+ years of experience with C# / .NET Core
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and design principles
• Experience with SQL databases and Git
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset
• Great communication and teamwork - you'll be working closely with both clients and internal teams

Nice to Have

• Experience with front-end frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue.js)
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Prior consultancy or client-facing experience
