Job Title: Software Engineer – C#/.NET | AWS | Kafka | Terraform (6-Month Contract)

Location: Fully Remote (UK-based)

Rate: £375-£400 per day (Outside IR35)

Start Date: ASAP / Flexible for the right candidate

Overview:

We’re seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer for a 6-month contract to support the development and scaling of our cloud-native services. You'll play a key role in a cross-functional engineering team, delivering modern backend systems in a fully remote environment. This role is UK-based and remote – applicants must reside and have the right to work in the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain robust and scalable backend services using C# and .NET .
• Develop and support distributed systems using Kafka for event-driven architecture.
• Deploy and manage infrastructure using AWS and Terraform .
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Write clean, testable code and contribute to CI/CD pipelines.
• Participate in code reviews and provide mentorship where appropriate.

Key Skills & Experience:

• Strong commercial experience with C# / .NET Core (5+ years preferred).
• Proven experience working with AWS services in production environments.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka for messaging/event streaming.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform .
• Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work autonomously in a remote team setup.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to collaboration.
