Technical Support Engineer

Job Title: Technology Engineer

Location: East Cheshire

Salary: £32,000

Excellent opportunity to join a well-established and expanding Saas based Data company in East Cheshire.

5 engineers within the tech support team (2nd line). They also respond to less than 70 tickets a day collectively across the team and around 10 are closed per day (In-House).

The role will be based in the office three days a week, with two days at home. You'll gain Azure training along with deployment of pipeline experience.

The Role

You’ll help manage escalations and ensure the performance and reliability of their networks, which supports customers across financial services and other regulated industries.

What they are looking for:

Someone with a couple of years' experience in Tech support who can hit the grounding running in the following:

  • Strong skills in Active Directory, Technical support, and either Windows or Linux background.
  • 2+ years in technical support or infrastructure roles, ideally supporting compliance-sensitive or financial environments.
  • Microsoft Azure (Basic knowledge).
  • Ideally worked for an MSP or used to dealing with customers.
  • Have a desire to get into more DevOps, Automation and cloud responsibilities.
