Test Engineer

New Role: Test Engineer – Cardiff (Hybrid) | £28,000–£35,000

Are you a detail-driven Test Engineer or QA with 1+ year of experience and a passion for building high-quality software? We’re looking for someone just like you to join a growing team in Cardiff.

The Role

You'll be a key part of our product and engineering team — writing and executing test cases, identifying bugs, and helping us deliver robust, reliable software. We're an agile, collaborative bunch, and quality is at the heart of everything we do.

What You’ll Do:

• Plan and carry out manual and/or automated testing
• Log bugs, suggest improvements, and track fixes using tools like JIRA
• Work closely with developers, product owners, and stakeholders
• Run regression, functional, integration, and exploratory tests
• Help us continuously improve how we test and ship code

What We’re Looking For:

• 1+ year in a QA/Test Engineer role
• Solid understanding of testing practices and SDLC
• Great eye for detail and strong communication skills
• Experience with tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar
• A collaborative mindset and desire to learn

Bonus Points For:

• Exposure to automation tools (e.g. Selenium, Cypress)
• Basic scripting or coding skills
• ISTQB Foundation or similar certification
