Corporate Development is seeking a highly-qualified professional to join the EMEA Post Merger Integration (PMI) team as a Specialist.
Accenture Corporate Development is responsible for identifying and executing inorganic opportunities (V&A – Ventures & Acquisitions) that advance the Firm’s strategic objectives. We work with Senior Management throughout the firm, across all Markets, Services, Industries, and Geographies.
The PMI team partners with the Accenture Sponsoring Organization directly accountable for the acquisition, to integrate the acquired company into the Accenture ecosystem, establishing the foundation for business success and future growth.
The PMI Team drives mobilization of all front and back office teams, establishes the governance framework, works with the Sponsoring Organization leadership to design the integration model, drives all planning, execution, and at the end of the PMI phase facilitates handover to operations.
This PMI position may require travel and working flexible hours.
Key responsibilities:
- Support setup of the Integration management office: kick-offs, team charters and workplans.
- Coordinate hand over from Due Diligence to PMI Workstreams.
- Program Management of PMI Program including milestones tracking, actions follow-up, risk management.
- Coordinate activities across functional teams with focus on dependencies
- Proactively manage issues, risks and decisions required.
- Implement proven tools, best practices.
- Support preparation of Integration Leadership meetings and Steering committees.
- Contribute to development of PMI Intellectual Property, including lessons learnt, best practices, briefing decks, checklists, templates.
Qualifications:
Candidates should have knowledge about how Accenture operates with experience in internal facing positions (e.g. Business Operations, Finance, Human Resources, Legal, Sales Ops) or consulting background with client exposure.
- Ability to work on complex projects in a multicultural environment.
- Ability to establish strong relationship and trust with Senior Leaders in a short period of time
- Robust collaborative skills and strong program management skills.
- Ability to innovate and learn continuously (incl. use of AI tools).
- English proficiency, both verbal and written.
- Professional maturity, personal integrity and strong work ethic.
