As a Team:

We are a specialist Data Security and Quantum Security practice, helping organisations translate regulatory, policy and standards-based requirements into practical, scalable technical controls. Our work spans the full lifecycle, from interpreting industry standards and emerging quantum and AI guidance, through to designing and implementing real-world security architectures that work across complex enterprise environments.

You’ll work at the intersection of data security, policy, engineering and architecture, contributing to:

  • Data security and privacy strategy

  • Standards and regulatory evaluation (e.g. GDPR, data governance frameworks, cryptographic, AI and security standards)

  • Technical transposition into controls, platforms and operating models

  • Development of new service offerings, vendor relationships and propositions

  • Solution shaping and client engagement

Our culture values curiosity, structured thinking and collaboration. You’ll learn from a global network of experts while helping to build new capabilities, shape market-facing offerings and deliver measurable outcomes for clients facing their most complex data risk challenges.

If you’re looking for a role where you can influence strategy, design solutions, engage with clients and help shape the future of data security, this is an opportunity to grow your career in a high-impact, forward-looking team.

Role Summary:

A technical and advisory lead specialising in data security, privacy, cryptography and AI security, with a strong focus on securing Productivity data and modern data platforms. You will lead discovery, architecture and design activities, and support complex implementations across M365, cloud, SaaS and AI environments, translating policy, standards, and risk requirements into practical, enforceable technical controls.

This role blends deep hands-on technical expertise with client-facing advisory leadership, working across governance, technical controls, and enterprise integrations and leveraging platforms such as Microsoft Purview, Privacy automation and DSPM tooling to reduce data exposure and improve security outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Discovery & Assessment

  • Lead data security discovery across M365, SaaS, cloud platforms, and AI/ML workflows, identifying sensitive data locations, access patterns and exposure paths.

  • Analyse data flows and egress channels to understand how data is created, shared and exfiltrated across collaboration tools, endpoints, email, web and AI systems.

  • Assess the effectiveness of data privacy operations, identifying gaps in coverage, enforcement and operational maturity.

  • Evaluate cryptographic usage and dependencies, including encryption at rest and in transit, key management practices and emerging cryptographic risk

Architecture & Design

  • Define end-to-end data security and privacy architectures integrating tools to protect data and support privacy.

  • Inventory cryptographic controls across data platforms, aligning encryption and key management patterns with enterprise security architecture.

  • Define AI security controls and guardrails, including protections around data ingestion, prompt and output handling, monitoring and prevention of sensitive data leakage into AI systems.

  • Translate policy, standards and risk requirements into scalable technical designs that can be implemented and operated effectively.

Operational Enablement & Delivery

  • Develop and mature data security operating models, including runbooks, tuning approaches, incident response integration and continuous improvement loops.

  • Support implementation, tuning and optimisation of information protection, DLP, DSPM and privacy controls, ensuring measurable risk reduction.

  • Contribute to pre-sales and solution shaping, supporting client workshops, technical designs, proposals and the development of new data security, quantum and AI security offerings.

  • Help tailor solutions across sectors, adapting core data security capabilities to different threat models and operational environments.
